Customer Reviews:

One of the best RAID controllers around5
I’ve used the 3ware family of RAID controller many times, it’s the only one I’ve had success with the Linux kernel automatically recognizing it, plug-&-play, no need for compiling or tweaking drivers, etc. If you want to use Linux, and you want your RAID to just work, I highly recommend this family of controllers. They are not cheap! But you get what you pay for.

“I learned this, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in celebrated hours.” (Henry David Thoreau, “Walden.”)

Hands up folks, how many of us discovered Thoreau after having watched this movie? *Really* discovered I mean, regardless whether you had known he’d existed before. How many enjoy they know what Thoreau was talking about in that passage about “sucking the marrow out of life” cited in the movie, even if you didn’t use the next 2+ years of your life living in a self-constructed cabin on a pond in the woods? How many bought a copy of Whitman’s poems … whatever collection? (And maybe even read more than “Oh Captain! My Captain!”? ) How many went on to read Emerson? Frost? Or John Keats, on whose personality Robin Williams’s John Keating is probably losely based? Judging by the tall majority of the reviews on this place alone, you honest can’t fail to gawk that this movie has a grand appeal like few others; “inspirational” is probably the most frequently passe word in the opinions represented here. And justifiedly so, despite the fact that charismatic Neil Perry (Robert Sean Leonard), one of the movie’s main characters, tragically falters in the pursuit of his dreams, in the wake of apparent triumph. Because although Neil’s myth is one of failure, ultimately this movie is a celebration of the triumph of free will, independent thinking and the growth of personality; embodied in its closing scene.

Of course, lofty goals such as these are not easily achieved. Todd Anderson (Ethan Hawke) in particular, the last scene’s triumphant hero, is literally pushed to the edge of reason before he learns to overcome his inhibitions. And Thoreau said in “Walden:” “If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; That is where they should be. Now save the foundations under them.” Anyone who takes this movie’s message to heart (and Thoreau’s, and Whitman’s, and Emerson’s, Frost’s and Keats’s) knows that success too easily won is often no success at all, and most of our truly principal accomplishments are based on focus, tenacity and hard work as worthy as on anything else. And prudence, too … dashing Charlie Dalton (Gale Hansen) pays a high imprint for his spur-of-the-moment challenges of authority; although of course you impartial gotta appreciate him for refusing to notice Keating’s indictment. “Carpe diem” - live life to its fullest, but always know what you are doing, too.

You won’t bask in this movie if you are timid of letting your mind and your feelings bustle free. Shot on the handsome site of Delaware’s St. Andrews Academy, “Plain Poets’ Society” is visually lovely, particularly in its depiction of the amazingly delicate scenery (where the progression of the seasons mirrors the progression of the movie’s fable line), and it is as emotionally tantalizing as it invites you to mentally reexamine your status in life. Robin Williams delivers another Academy Award-worthy performance (he was nominated but unfortunately didn’t secure) . Of course, Robin Williams will to a obvious extent always be Robin Williams … “Aladdin’s” Genie, “Ample Morning Vietnam’s” Adrian Cronauer and “Helpful Will Hunting’s” Professor McGuire (the 1997 role which would finally come by him his long overdue Oscar) all shimmer through in his portrayal of John Keating; and if you’ve ever seen him give an interview you know that the man can go from hilarious and irreverent to deeply reflective in a split second even when it’s not a movie camera that’s rolling. Yet, the gloomy sheep among Welton Academy’s teachers assumes as definite and memorable a personality as any other one of Williams’s film characters.

Of its many Academy Award nominations (in addition to Robin Williams’s nomination for best leading actor, the movie was also nominated in the best relate, best director [Peter Weir] and best modern screenplay categories), “Expressionless Poets’ Society” ultimately only won the Oscar for Tom Schulman’s script. But more importantly, it has long since won it’s viewers’ lasting appreciation, and for a reason. - As the Poet said: “Camerado! This is no book; Who touches this, touches a man” (Walt Whitman, “So Long!”), this is no movie; who watches this, watches himself!

It contains well-known extra footage added by Peter Weir that fleshes out the motivations gradual many of the characters and answers some questions that the theatrical gash raises. The Director’s chop is 142 minutes so this DVD is unprejudiced a re-release of the current theatrical version.

I have mixed feelings about this reveal, but ultimately, it’s colossal. My 3 year archaic daughter loves it. She asks to spy it every day, which is where my mixed feelings near in. I’m resplendent sick of it. But if you’re looking for a exhibit your small girl will want to examine, this will work. It has a very short scary fraction, but my daughter, who is skiddish and makes me hasty forward through scary parts of OTHER movies, is NOT tremulous during this one. I like the message too, it’s basically about helping someone in need. And it’s not too long, about 40 minutes.

My 5, soon to be 6, year passe daughter loves all the Holly Hobbie DVDs but this one is her hands down accepted. She adores the song where the Hey Girls try to whisk away summer boredom by pretending they are French Fashion Models. These dvds do tend to have kind of fun, catchy songs and this one is no exception. I like the Holly Hobbie dvds because they are basically wholesome without being too sappy. They dispute first-rate values like helping others, respecting elderly people, and dealing appropriately with conflict, be it between siblings or friends. They may have a couple tense moments but really couldn’t be called scary. They are a noble plan to balance out they abundance of fairy memoir princess stuff that overwhelms the girly dvd market with something a slight closer to loyal life. We like princesses, too, don’t accumulate me disagreeable, but it’s nice to have something that doesn’t involve any magic spells or generically beautiful princes for a change.

This review is mainly concerned with the unusual, Japanese version of Gojira (not dubbed) . I derive that inserting Raymond Burr’s character and removing some of the new to do so takes a tremendous deal away from this movie and what it represents.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Gojira! Click Here

Godzilla rises from his long sleep due to the effects of the hydrogen bomb. With each attack, the creature becomes more courageous until Tokyo suffers a devasting attack, and only a miracle can do the country from another tragic visit by this risen giant.

The worship affair plays a secondary but significant portion in the film. Emiko has been promised in marriage to a bright young scientist but has fallen in care for with another man. It is the worn world traditions clashing with modernity. Her father is a paleontologist who is probably the only person sharing empathy with Godzilla, feeling that destroying the beast will be depriving science of its one and only chance to ogle a creature from the prehistoric past.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Gojira! Click Here

What is often overlooked (and not really stressed in the American version) is the unpleasant pickle the young scientist faces when he is begged to utilize his oxygen destroyer weapon against Godzilla. Only the viewing of the destruction and sadness earn him realize there is only one course to remove. I feel he is the most crucial and yet saddest character in the entire movie. He actually loses on a number of counts–his life’s work (he destroys his formula so it could never descend into the wicked hands), his fiancee has decided to wed another, and in proper samurai-like tradition, ends his life nobly. The scene of Godzilla’s painful death at the same moment that this mettlesome but insecure researcher ends his contain is poignant in the gross.

This film is not unprejudiced about humans against an veteran monster awakened from the past. It is about the universal emotions of fancy, dedication and the dangers to which science can lead us. It is also about sacrifice and triumph over impossible odds.

It is essential to remember that the novel movie was produced not that many years after the devastation wrought on Japan by the atomic bombs. It does not steal grand of the imagination to observe the same destroyed cities, dying and injured people and the heartache produced by an attack, whether monster or man-made, on such a massive scale. The burning buildings, high levels of radioactivity, the melting metal all conjure up the effects of the atomic bomb, and in many ways this movie is an illustration of what Japan experienced, as well as providing a cathartic do to a nation that suffered perhaps the greatest dread of this century.

The underlying message here is that, like the oxygen destroyer, atomic weapons are the most destructive plot ever invented by man. This movie, besides being a very scary monster film (it gave me nightmares when I was a minute girl) is an anti-nuclear weapon vehicle which gets its message across through the characters of a tall beast, a scientist faced with a factual decision, and a people hooked on surviving. Godzilla is more then a movie; it is a social statement against any weapon that has the power to alter our world, and the people in it, forever.

I had the obvious pleasure of meeting the ragged gentleman who was encased within the Godzilla costume. A very short man playing a broad monster (he was about 5 feet huge), he was nevertheless cheerful and surprised that his portrayal of the beast has continued to device audiences even after all these years. It was an honor to meet him.

My advice is the best contrivance to gawk this movie is in the unusual, uncut Japanese version without dubbing. I am not a tall fan of dubbing anyway, and feel that since people know the myth and what is being said, the language barrier disappears and the emotional impact of the film is felt on a worthy higher scale.

To me, this is one of the best movies produced and has stood the passing of time. It holds many lessons for those who are originate to the warnings and human tragedies, both physical and emotional, that we are forced to face in a world that has advanced to the point of self-annihilation.

First Godzilla movie. Now, upright there is enough reason to pick this movie, but there are many more reasons too. Special effects wise, it’s ample and a treat to the peer ( especially compared to “Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster” or “Godzilla vs. Megalon” ) . Effects include: puppets, suit mation, and end motion. This is where Godzilla is mild an atomic, horrifing creature that kills and not the smiling, kid freindly monster. Objective Godzilla, no Minya, no Rodan, and best of all no Jet Jaguar! The american scenes with Raymond Burr kind of dumb down the film which is why it only gets 4 stars, but I try to overlook the american scenes and concentrate on Godzilla’s awsome rampages through japanese cities. The footage of death and destruction in that radiant stark dim and white are an alarm intriguing region!

Buy,Download, Or Stream Gojira! Click Here

Filmed in stark shadowy and white, this is the very best movie to initiate with if you want to eye all the Godzilla movies. Examine all the movies in order from this 1956 film to “Godzilla vs. Destroyer” made in 1995. As you progress through the series you will pick up out that Godzilla turns into a totally diffrent creature and then turns assist to a mean creature again.

Hell? s Angels is an fantastic film. It is certainly the best WWI aviation film, although Wings runs it end, and it has flying sequences that are simply staggering, because they are so obviously actual. There is a astonishing sequence depicting the attack on an substantial Zeppelin which shows how the giant airship actually operated and gives a sense of its size, slowness and vulnerability. Also expedient of stamp is a mass dogfight spirited a captured German bomber, Baron Von Richthofen? s Flying Circus and what seems like most of the Royal Flying Corps. At times the sky is filled with bi-planes performing thrilling manoeuvres, but the film does not fail to present the individuals in this fight and to point out the horrific human cost of the fighting. Hell? s Angels is in fact surprisingly violent, showing men consumed in flames and screaming to their deaths. Actually it is remarkably frank in a number of ways. Jean Harlow gives a star-making performance which oozes sex. She never looked better especially when uttering her noted line? Would you be timid if I do on something more comfortable?? Here is a woman who knows what she wants and doesn? t allow conventions to find in her design. What? s more the film doesn? t attempt to tone-down this characterization. She frankly admits she wants nothing to do with marriage and family values and it is this frankness which must have seemed so monstrous to contemporary audiences. Hell? s Angels is also not jumpy to point to flyers stout of panic and questioning the point of the war. It? s most sympathetic character is a coward who unbiased wants to live. The yarn is thus rather current, especially for a war film, for it does not possess the heroics and the heroes so familiar from the genre, but rather shows the grim determination of terrorized men to derive the job done.

It is possible to accept a few criticisms of this film. The two leading men are only adequate as actors and lack the charisma of more familiar thirties leading men. Furthermore they are not particularly convincing as Englishmen for they obtain cramped attempt to disguise their American accents. Also the German characters are a slight too stereotypical and at times slightly ludicrous, especially in one scene where they expose their Teutonic willingness to die for the Fatherland by jumping from a Zeppelin.

The print feeble for this MCA Universal video is first class. It has been restored so that it includes some tinted night and early morning scenes and includes a fabulous early Technicolor party scene. The sound is better than is often the case with early talkies; there is very dinky background noise, although there are some snatches of dialogue which are a petite indistinct. This is a high quality video and distinguished viewing for fans of WWI aviation films.

Three reasons to examine this film:

Buy,Download, Or Stream Howard Hughes’ Hell’s Angels! Click Here

Buy,Download, Or Stream Howard Hughes’ Hell’s Angels! Click Here

- still-teenaged Jean Harlow, aesthetic in her only Technicolor footage, and giving a remarkable better performance under the direction of (I prefer) James Whale than she would in “Public Enemy” a year later;

- a riveting nighttime Zeppelin attack with an extraordinary payoff;

- aerial battle scenes unmatched for realism that truly lisp the fear of fights-to-the-death in the skies (apparently three pilots died doing the distinguished stunts) .

Buy,Download, Or Stream Howard Hughes’ Hell’s Angels! Click Here

Ben Lyon is the only lead performer whose acting seems fairly new and somewhat natural while the other male leads are quiet stuck in that irregular, stilted early-talkie mode (the film was begun as a quiet and morphed into a talkie over a two-year shoot spanning 1928-1930) . The biggest flaw is the ridiculous stereotypical portrayal of the German commanders as sadistic Huns straight out of a WWI propaganda film; this is the most dated element in what remains, given the period in which it was produced, an amazingly gripping film, beautifully restored in its unique DVD incarnation by UCLA film restoration experts.

Customer Reviews:

Know what you are buying and you will like it4
Here’s my background in music and home theater. At one point I had a home with a ‘music room’ (isolated front room - no TV) which contained some nice furniture and was spacious - about 20×17. Had KEF 105.7 speakers, a tube amp, a good preamp - and it was great to just sit an listen to all types of music. It was a powerful system, pushing 300W (as I recall) into the KEF’s. Then I moved and lost my ‘music room’ - but got a nice Sony DLP TV and added a Sony Home Theater, not a great one, maybe $500 total. This system was OK, but never really listened to it for music, it was just not the same as the KEF’s. (Oh, these KEF’s are floor standing, large speakers). They would totally dominate the room I have now, which is about 17×15. The Sony 5.1 system did OK as mentioned, but nothing to write home about. The other day I decided to do some research on the web on a new HTIB (Home Theater in a Box) system. Went to the Forums - all of them, and most had recommendations covering all sorts of pricing, and of course, it’s what they purchased. Surprising to me, BOSE was not well thought of, and price always entered the equation. I had heard BOSE before in the BOSE store, and decided to check it out again. I went there, and they made it easy, a 60 day return policy, no questions ask. I took home a 321 series III GS (no music storage). I also got the small bookshelf speaker stands. Took me about 10 minutes to set it up in my bedroom and connect to the Flat Panel TV on the wall. I did not even open the manual to set up instructions, the cables only plugged in one place - can’t get it wrong. Powered it up, and had music and TV via optical to Direct TV PVR. Wow, the sound was ‘open’ - and clear. So what does ‘open’ mean? The highs were powerful, the lows were the same - the voices were as if they were right in front of you. However, it was a bit to ’sharp’ for me, so I cut down the Treble a bit and it was better. I lived with this for 3 days, and my wife loved it. Then I took the system to my 17×15 front room where the DLP is. Set the system up and I was immediately converted back to my KEF days - it was great. I sat and listened to all types of music - and I’m more of a Beatles guy leaning toward harder Rock, but Mozart even sounded great - the Juds - wonderful.. CCR was a new experience. A few days more and I decided I wanted the GSX, so I could store music - I called the BOSE store, told them want I wanted to do, they had a system ready for me, came to my car, got the old GS system, put the new one in my car, and I was off - after paying the difference of course. Brought it home, set it up and started burning my CD’s - which takes about 5 minutes per CD - and you can only do 10 at a time as the system buffers these before writing to the hard drive. A few days more and I went back and bought my son one for Christmas - he’s a great guy doing well in his new job (just graduated from College). Anyway, I now sit and listen to music a fair amount and enjoy it again.

As you have perhaps read, this system is not for everyone. The speakers are small - which was a plus for me - I’ve had the large ones, not what I wanted this time around. The two speakers sit almost hidden on a shelf, either side of the TV. The bass speaker is over against the wall, hardly know it’s there. It’s not 5.1 surround sound, but I rarely heard the Sony rear speakers before when playing music. Don’t miss this - except for maybe on DVD’s - but this is OK for me. Now, having said this, I am considering spending another $1300 and getting the Lifestyle 38 - but am waiting to see if I can talk my self out of this - it’s a better system I think, but will I really notice? I don’t know. I can use the $1300 elsewhere, but I have the money to spend so I may do it. I would recommend the 321 for a try, in your own home. I think you will see what I mean when you get it home and turn it on.

Merry Christmas ‘08

Scott
—————–
12/20/08 So, I had to find out.. I went to BOSE and purchased a Lifestyle 38 - the next to the top of the line, with recording ability. I wanted to see the 5.1 system perform - and I did a comparison test, the LS38 speakers right on top of the 3-2-1 speakers. I set the LS38 to only play 2 speakers + bass, and did an A/B comparison - the same recorded song, switching back and forth. The same volume #, so it was close - and it sounded the same volume. Listening to the LS38 - it sounded good.. as you would expect.. then switched over to the 3-2-1 and it was better! This becomes a bit hard to define - if you were to put your hand in front of your mouth, maybe 1″ away, and talk to someone, they could still hear you, and understand you. Now remove your hand and they perhaps hear you with more clarity. This is how I would explain the difference, the 3-2-1 with more clarity. I wrote BOSE about this and here is their response “If you purchased the new 3-2-1(R) GSX Series III system you have the latest Bose system.” - this says little, perhaps they know the 3-2-1 sounds better? / different. You read into it what you want. This is not slamming the SL38 by any means, its a great system too - but I, my personal choice, is the 3-2-1 ; others I’m sure will take the LS38 - but for $1300 more than the 3-2-1 GSX, it’s not worth it to me. (I would also say the 3-2-1 had more center ‘presents’ than the LS38, even running 4 speakers (3+1) on the 38

Great Product and Powerful Compact System5
I have actually reviewed this system before, but since that time I have received an update from Bose for the system and have made extensive use of features of the Bose 321 GSX system. This system continues to work flawlessly in our living room (which is 25′ x 15′ with a cathedral ceiling). Sound is amazing and I have never heard any distortions. Watching movies on the system is a theatrical experience with just the two front Gemstone speakers and low tones rumbling from the Acoustimass module.
It is an excellent pairing with our HD television. Listening to music is equally as impressive (and that is to be expected with the Bose name). One of the most enjoyable features of this system is the uMusic system which allows you to digitally store your audio CD’s in the system. It also allows you to categorize the music selections by genere, artist or album. I have organized my musical selections into 10 separate musical genres and programmed 4 of the 9 playlists that you can create. I have playlists for everything from dinner music, and classical, to my jazz favorites and my workout selections. The new updates from Bose allow you to edit the information in your digital music library with greater detail (you can alter information on each track of a CD). The system is a “learning program” and actually ‘learns’ your music preferences and plays only what you want to hear and skips your less favored tracks. I’m still (after more than two years) very impressed and happy with my Bose 321 GSX system. I have only added a Remote control extender (allowimg me to control ths system even when I am not in direct line of sight of the media center.
While the system is pricey, it continues to do an amazing job as our primary home theater system. There are plenty of jacs to attach additional devices and the universal remote controls all of our living room media and components. Although there is no jac for headphones or an ‘on timer’ (that I use as an added security measue when away from home), I’m a very happy and proud owner of this home theater system. Thanks Bose for a great compact system and customer service team, and thanks to Amazon for a great selection of items and prompt delivery.

Pleased!5
We have had our system for about a week. Overall we are very happy. It is perfect for the size room we have. I am sure it is not as the same as true surround sound, but it sounds good to us. It was easy to set up. Has a helpful DVD for set up instructions and a manual that is easy to read. Comes with most of the connection cords that you will need (real plus!) We have not used the music storage system yet, but will try that soon. Music CD’s sound great and it will play my CD-R’s that I record on my computer. DVD player works great. The remote also works our TV and Satellite too (two less remotes laying around!) The best thing I can say is they have great customer service. When I called with a question I was quickly put through to a knowledgeable rep who immediately solved my problem (which by the way was a loose speaker connection on my satellite box!) No transfers from one department to the other and no overseas reps who you can barely understand. Thanks BOSE!

As of this writing I have only previewed each disc in the collection. “Planet Earth” comes w/4 discs and is displayed in 1080 Progressive Scan. The remaining discs in the collection are in 1080i, however, I can sight no mighty contrast. There is, however, a marked contrast between DVD and Blu-Ray. This collection needs to be seen in Bluray to fully be pleased it’s potential. So far, all discs are of the highest quality and interestingly narrated; As pleasurable as, or better, than the very best nature documentary one has ever seen on television. Well worth the trace for the amount of high-quality footage (over 1000 minutes) ; Can easily be viewed more than once, especially by children…There is no designate inequity whether you occupy these sets individually or in this box set—this diagram, though, they reach in their individually marked plastic cases, and all 4 boxes fit into the pictured cardboard case.

Being a photographer and a lover of nature, animals, and culture I decided to gift myself the fresh HDTV, Blu Ray and this collection of documentaries for my birthday. I am incredibly ecstatic with everything I have watched and indulge in the cinematography, writing and narration that went into the making of this series. I have found all the shows so far to be tantalizing, informative, even calming and relaxing after a hard day at work. I am humbled by the majesty of our world and feel blessed to experience those parts of it where I may never have a chance to visit.

The genre of family-oriented computer titillating feature film, invented and pioneered by Pixar Animation Studios, has seen a sizable decline in the past couple of years. Now, every other movie studio churns out another one in hopes of being the next Toy Anecdote or Finding Nemo. In this reviewer’s idea, the formula has gotten incredibly veteran. It’s the same thing over and over again - Lots of humor and silliness for the kids, with some clever pop-culture references for adults, lots of talking inanimate objects voiced by recognizable and approved celebrities, a song by a bankable pop star. Wrap it all up in a sparkling, luminous package and advertise it on Nickelodeon and network TV and you’ve got a recipe for success. This formula has now been repeated ad nauseam by the movie studios yet parents, in lieu of more lustrous and creative children’s entertainment, snatch it up. Unbiased recognize at the prick of upcoming CG family movies slated for 2005. There are at least four, maybe five.

However, if there is anything that you can depend on in the expressionless world of computer entertaining movies, it is the name Pixar. Those five letters are quite simply synonymous with quality. They started the genre and peaceful no one does it better. From Toy Account to Monsters, Inc. to Finding Nemo, Pixar has consistently produced astonishingly high quality films in both entertainment and artistic value. Pixar’s latest, The Incredibles was written and directed by Brad Bird who gave us the fantastic 1999 film The Iron Giant. It is yet another staggering success for Pixar Animation Studios.

The Incredibles is not honest another handsome computer spicy movie, it completely reinvents and transcends its tired genre. The film boasts extremely enthralling writing and plotting (rewarded with a Best Unusual Screenplay Academy Award nomination), friendly swear acting, astonishing conceptual fabricate and, most importantly, the audacity to crash from the mold and do something different. This is first hinted at by the film’s rating; The Incredibles is Pixar’s first PG-rated movie. It is not impartial an assortment of jokes and pop-culture references, it is a fully-realized epic focusing on human (sort of) characters and the struggle of living in a society that you don’t fit in with. There are no talking fish, no talking bugs, no talking toys. It’s a dependable movie with dependable heart told with improbable skill and style. It was well-deserving of its Best Consuming Feature Academy Award, however the fact that its only competition was Shrek 2 and Shark Memoir diminishes that achievement. Yes, it’s also an incredibly fun sage about superheroes with lots of stunts, action, giant robots, superpowers and an execrable villain. I found it to be one of the most satisfying, and best, movies of 2004.

Don’t be deterred by the fact that it’s computer attractive and that it’s from the makers of Finding Nemo. You don’t have to be a child or a parent (I myself am neither) to treasure this film. It’s a big movie that anyone can appreciate and be pleased.

I have been and shall remain a lifelong fan not only of movies, but of comical books, heroes, etcetera. The enjoyable and refreshing The Incredibles blends both together for me - heroes and movies.

I’ll be unbiased - in the past (with the exception of the first 2 Toy Yarn movies), when a trailer for a Pixar film was released, I was less than enthused. I have, however, seen every Pixar film and loved them all. The trailers never looked tantalizing to me until the Incredibles. Shrek, Shark Memoir, Ice Age - they’ve got zip on Pixar!

Getting serve to my review of this film, all I can say is The Incredibles is a winner on all levels. Animation is top notch (increasingly better with each film), announce acting (and the casting selection) is estimable, cinematography (even though it’s digital) is exceptional, and the gain (especially with The Incredibles) is a perfect fit.

The premise is a fitting portrait of today’s world. All the clean heroes go into hiding and melt away into ‘normal life’ because of lawsuits pop up from individuals who didn’t want to be saved, therefore causing a public superhero backlash. Naturally, it doesn’t prefer long for heroes to re-emerge and once again attach the day from poor wretchedness while being hoisted help into the public spotlight…that’s enough premise/plot…objective sit assist and delight in the masterfully crafted film by Brad Bird (The Iron Giant) known as The Incredibles.

Whether you’re an adult, child, or man-child, this movie will pick you in and accomplish you forget you’re watching a movie. The visuals and yarn is fascinating and well written. After unprejudiced having suffered through about 1/3 of the 77th Annual Oscars (many thanks to the creators of TiVo), the highlight of the night for me was The Incredibles winning Best Tantalizing Feature of 2004 (and Clint Eastwood winning Best Director and Best Narrate for Million Dollar Baby) . I was so skittish that the vacuous Hollywood types were going to give the BAF Oscar to the vapid Shrek 2. Thank God the voting members have some sense!
